Dr. Vivienne J Stewart
BDS (Syd)
After an early childhood spent in Asia, Dr Stewart was educated in Sydney and then went on to study dentistry at Sydney University.
After graduating, she lived and worked in London where she had two daughters. Returning to Sydney when they were school age, Dr Stewart started work locally and has been working at Northside Dental & Implant Centre® since 2003.
Dr Stewart loves her job and is passionate about helping people to achieve their dental health goals. She has several decades of experience in dentistry to draw on when treating patients and enjoys the challenge of treating all age groups, the young and the not so young.
Working empathetically with people with disabilities is also particularly important to Dr Stewart and it’s one of the reasons she enjoys her clinical visits to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance where she works as a volunteer dentist.
Dr Stewart also enjoys talking at the Baby and Toddler show and at the regular preschool visits she makes with her nurses each term. During these visits she talks to teachers, parents and children on the importance of taking good care of little mouths and teeth and demonstrates the correct way to brush and floss.
