Dr. Melissa Chu

Dr Melissa Chu completed her dental education at the University of Adelaide, graduating concurrently with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery as well as First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Dentistry. During her studies, she was awarded with the Australian Prosthodontic Society SA Branch Prize.

Melissa has a very gentle chair-side manner and is committed to providing high quality care. She is passionate about empowering her patients with knowledge so that they are able to maintain happy, healthy smiles.

During her studies, Melissa was a recipient of a research grant from the Australian Dental Research Foundation and has published her work in the Journal of Oral Rehabilitation.

Melissa enjoys giving back to the profession and also serves as a Clinical Educator at the University of Sydney. Since 2023, she has been teaching and supervising dental students at the extraction clinic in the Sydney Dental Hospital.

Outside of dentistry, Melissa enjoys rock climbing and spending time with friends and family.
